About UboMed
Built by a medical student, for medical students.
UboMed exists because Janet needed it — and couldn't find it anywhere.
Our story
Janet Chukwu is an MS4 at LUCOM, class of 2027. Boris Gera is her co-founder and technical partner.
During her clinical rotations, Janet kept running into the same problem: too much information, not enough time, and no tool that actually matched how clinicians think.
So they built Ubo.
Not as a replacement for clinical judgment — but as a companion that sharpens it. A tool that thinks with you through a differential, challenges your reasoning on a case, and flags the drug interaction you almost missed at 2am.
UboMed is built by people who are living the same challenges as the people using it. That's not a marketing line. Janet is still in med school while we build this.

Our mission
To make clinical reasoning support accessible to every medical student and resident — regardless of what school they go to, what rotation they're on, or what time of night it is.
What we believe
Clinically Grounded
Every output Ubo generates is rooted in evidence-based medicine. We take clinical accuracy seriously.
Built With Humility
Ubo is a thinking partner, not an oracle. We're explicit about limitations and never overstate confidence.
Student First
We price for students, build for students, and listen to students. That never changes.
